iDEAL

Founded in 2005, iDEAL is the most popular online banking payment method in the Netherlands. iDEAL is a bank-to-bank transfer method supported by all Dutch core banks. Buyers can transfer money directly through the bank they select from iDEAL. The payment process is safe, fast, and convenient.

When paying with iDEAL, buyers select the bank they want to pay with from a list of banks. Then they are redirected to the bank's website to complete the payment. Buyers can scan a QR code on a web page using their mobile devices, avoiding the need to manually enter personal payment information.

The following screenshots show the journey of paying with iDEAL:

1. The buyer selects iDEAL to pay.
2. The buyer enters the iDEAL page to select the specific bank.
3. The buyer logs into the bank app.
4. The buyer confirms the order information.
5. The buyer inputs the PIN to complete the verification.
6. The buyer views the payment result in the bank app.
7. Automatically redirect the buyer to the APM page, and then back to the merchant result page.
