MB WAY boasts a market penetration rate of over 90% in Portugal, reaching 6 million users and more than 185,000 merchants.
Users can make online payments through their mobile phone numbers linked to MB WAY with multi-factor authentication, enabling a fast, secure, and seamless payment experience.

The following figure shows the journey of paying with MB WAY in the App terminal:
- The buyer selects MB WAY to pay.
- The buyer is redirected to the MB WAY app by clicking the notification sent by MB WAY.
- The buyer checks the order information and completes mandatory authentication.
- The buyer completes the payment and receives the payment notification.
- The buyer is redirected back to the merchant result page.
