Which invoice generation date should I select?
It depends on your priorities:
- 3rd of the month: The earliest invoice generation date, without requiring full invoice data from the previous month.
- 11th of the month: The date on which the complete invoice is generated.
What happens if I change my invoice date mid-month?
It depends on whether the invoice has already been generated:
- If already generated: The existing invoice remains unchanged, but the upcoming invoice will be generated on the updated invoice date in the following month.
- If not yet generated: The invoice will be generated on the upcoming new invoice date. If the new invoice date has already passed in the current month, the invoice will be generated immediately.
If I change the invoice generation date from 11th to 3rd on July 5th. When will my June invoice be generated?
The June invoice will be generated on July 5th (the same day you make the change) , not on August 3rd. When you change the new invoice date to a previous date (e.g., from the 11th to the 3rd) , Antom triggers the catch-up invoice immediately. However, it may take up to 4 hours for the invoice to appear in the Antom Dashboard.
Why is the June invoice incomplete?
When you set the invoice date to the 3rd of each month, some transactions may not yet be finalized, resulting in an incomplete invoice. For example, a June invoice generated on July 3rd may contain only 80% of the invoice data. The full details of the June invoice will be available on August 3rd. On August 3rd, Antom will generate two invoices:
- The remaining 20% of June invoice
- 80% of July invoice
If I make a change to my invoice settings, when will I see the effect?
Generally, when updating the invoice date option by clicking Invoice setting, the change takes effect immediately. Refer to Set the invoice date for details. However, if a catch-up invoice is triggered (that is, when a new invoice date is changed to a previous date) , it may take up to 4 hours for the invoice to appear in the Antom Dashboard.
